The successor to the 2010 released Just Cause 2 is finally here. On December 1, 2015 Just Cause 3 released on PS4, XBox One and PC. The Swedish developers Avalanche Studios handled the development, which began in 2012, again. Just Cause 3 is like his predecessor an open world action-adventure. The size of the map is again around 1000km² but this time it offers more verticality. So there is enough to explore.
Story-wise, Just Cause 3 takes place six years after its predecessor. Rico Rodriguez returns to his home, the Mediterranean island known as Medici. There, he finds out that the island is under the brutal control of dictator General Sebastiano Di Ravello, who has set his eyes on world domination. Of course, Rico sets out to destroy the plans of the dictator and stop him. For that, you have a variety of weapons, vehicles and other tools at your disposal. The grappling hook and parachute from Just Cause 2 return, but this time with improved mechanics. Additionally, Rico now has a Wingsuit, with which he can smoothly glide through the air. Because Avalanche Studios fully concentrated on the single player mode, the game does not feature a multiplayer mode at the moment. However, a multiplayer mode is not out of the question, so you shouldn’t give up hope.
